JDC has an exciting opportunity for a skilled logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Coordinator (OpsC) with JDC, you will support a portfolio of Entwine events & trainings, Insider Trips, programmatic components of the Multi-Week Fellowship and Year-Long Jewish Service Corps Fellowship, and special projects. The OpsC will balance scheduling, budgeting, and other logistics for these projects and must be able to adapt quickly to changing needs.

What will you do as an Operations Coordinator?

  • Serve as a critical staff member of PODs (collaborative project working groups for program delivery) either as the project lead or by managing substantial logistics to ensure the success of a program
  • Balance logistics, material creation, participant applications, and team support for multiple projects, prioritizing effectively and working with staff across the Entwine function
  • Prepare curriculum, participant briefing, and other essential materials for Insider Trip group leaders including a group leader binder with critical participant and program information
  • Manage logistics across the function, including: booking travel; managing calendars; tracking participant payments; and reserving meeting rooms
  • Research and book suitable venues and vendors per program
  • Manage project budgets and process reimbursements, invoices, and payments for program participants
  • Liase with staff, alumni, partners, and vendors in a professional and supportive manner
  • Maintain and update the Entwine database with participant information, compiling and inputting participant evaluation data per assignment
  • Be a JDC Entwine expert by 1) maintaining a high-level understanding of the department’s goals and programming and 2) communicating the work of the department and JDC through an Entwine lens and perspective
  • Represent JDC in Jewish young adult forums
  • Assist with other projects in the Department as needed

What qualifications do you need to be our Operations Coordinator?

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills including complete facility with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Customer-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong prioritization skills, able to quickly adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of or interest in global Jewish service – a plus

  • This a full time, salaried position
