Inside the Studios of the Woman who makes Art from Light- Grimanesa Amorós
JDC invites you for an exclusive studio visit and a meet and greet with Grimanesa Amorós – the artist behind the long line of dreamy light-based installations, which she has presented around the globe, from Mexico, Tel Aviv, and Beijing, to New York’s Times Square.
Visit the land-marked studio where all the magic happens and hear from Amorós on her journey as a child in Lima, Peru, spending hours drawing maps of the world, to being one of the most sought-after installation artists in the world.
This special art literally “brings to light” people and places that are otherwise unseen— and offers a meaningful jumping off point for a discussion about JDC’s work helping vulnerable Jewish and other populations globally.
Annual JDC Art Circle Membership rate begins at $1,800. Individual event registration begins at $500. All membership rates are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
