Home to Latin America’s largest Jewish population, Argentina and its Jewish community were catapulted into economic turmoil during the 2001 economic crisis and resulting devaluation of the Argentine peso. Many Jewish families found themselves turned into “the new poor” virtually overnight.
Throughout the trip, we’ll have powerful first-hand encounters with the people who are working every day to help heal economic and political wounds and ensure the vibrancy of Jewish life and Jewish community.
Participation requires a meaningful gift to help Jewish Rescue, Relief, and Renewal programs around the world.
