JDC Responds to Crisis in Israel

As rocket fire from Gaza escalated in November 2012, JDC deployed our Emergency Response Team to ensure the well-being of the most vulnerable Israelis under fire—people with disabilities, the elderly, children at risk, and others. Leveraging existing JDC programs as platforms for implementing critical assistance, we provided hot meals to homebound elderly, care for displaced families, a lifeline to people with disabilities, and much more.
