Making Strides: Battling Breast Cancer in Bosnia
Over 3,000 participants—Muslims and Jews, Serbs and Croats—came together in the fight against breast cancer at the Second Race for the Cure® in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Race was organized by the Women’s Health Empowerment Program (WHEP), a partnership between JDC and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.
