Szarvas Camp: Europe’s Jewish Future

Twenty years ago, the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation/JDC International Summer Camp in Szarvas, Hungary, was established to reconnect young Jews from post-Communist Central and Eastern Europe to Jewish life.

Today hundreds of campers from over 25 countries converge at Szarvas to explore their Jewish identity, connect with Israel, and develop the leadership skills to become key players in their home communities.
