The Faces of the Argentina Crisis
Not since the Great Depression has an entire middle class been wiped out as completely as Argentina’s. Thousands of Jewish families face financial ruin. The Jewish community is desperate. Today, and for the next few years, Argentina’s Jewish community needs financial support to sustain itself during this critical period. JDC is asking for $15.5 million to cover the needs in 2003.
