Centropa is the signature project of the Central Europe Center for Research and Documentation, a US-based non-profit corporation with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria. JDC provides Centropa with logistical and technical support in more than a dozen countries in Europe. Their goal is to create a window into Jewish history, and current events, in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Centropa is comprised of an international team of historians, filmmakers, web designers, journalists, educators, photographers and Jewish community activists. The Director is Edward Serotta.
