Since 1964, JDC has been aiding the Jewish population in India. From helping the elderly and destitute to creating cultural and educational programs for youth and adults, JDC has become an essential part of Jewish life in India.

  • We currently help impoverished, elderly and ill Jews receive health care and social services.

  • Once isolated from world Jewry, the Jews of India look to JDC for assistance in developing new educational and cultural programs, enhancing social and communal development, and training India’s next generation of Jewish communal leaders.
