Celebrating Shavuot in Argentina

During the Shavuot 2004 holiday 68 institutions throughout Argentina celebrated Shavuot Biachad. JDC provided activity booklets to the institutions with suggested topics for study, such as the "Book of Ruth" and also "A Life of Spirituality During a Time of War". Game ideas were also provided.

In addition to the suggested activities, the institutions provided traditional food to the participants, such as fruits and dairy foods/meals. Shavuot Biachad is part of the larger Biachad framework in which JDC provides technical assistance to various institutions around Argentina for celebrating Jewish holidays.
