Once a major European center of Jewish life and learning, Lithuania is now home to a relatively small Jewish community. JDC,with help from its funding partners,is enabling the community to implement social welfare programs for elderly survivors and to expand a range of communal services that bring the joys of Jewish life to all generations. Vilnius, with its renocated Jewish Community Center is witnessing a renewal of Jewish life.
