The State of Women's Health in Israel

The JDC-Brookdale Institute recently released a study examining the state of women's health in Israel. The study's purpose was to examine the different health needs of women from men in Israel and opens with, "Although there have been health advances for both men and women in Israel, women's health lags behind men: Women suffer more from chronic diseases and mental distress than men; and overall, women rate their health status more poorly than men."
