JDC has established a number of awards to recognize excellence in various fields:

• The Ralph I. Goldman Fellowship - This year-long fellowship recognizes excellence in the area of Jewish communal service.
• The JDC Herbert Katzki Award - Awarded for outstanding historical writing based on archival material.
• The JDC Boris Smolar Award - Awarded to Israelis, for excellence in journalism in Israeli-Diaspora relations.
• The Larry and Leonore Zusman JDC Prize - Recognizes excellence for individuals or staffs in the innovation and implementation of social service programs in Israel.
