Begin in the captivating city of Budapest, where you will delve into both its rich history and present-day culture, with visits to Europe’s largest synagogue, the Dohány Street Synagogue, and a journey along the Danube River.

Discover JDC’s impact and investment in the future, as you visit the renowned Camp Szarvas, where over 1,500 campers from all over Europe come together each summer, and the JCC Budapest, a pluralistic and welcoming Jewish community center for people of all ages.

Hear about JDC’s work in Hungary with Ukrainian refugees and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the community.

As you continue to the historic city of Prague, explore iconic sites such as the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the 13th century Alt-New Synagogue. End the trip on a high note by spending Shabbat with the local Jewish community, immersing yourself in the local customs and traditions.
