The Ruderman Inclusion Summit brings together over 1,000 people from a variety of sectors including: tech, policy, human services, fashion, education, social justice, business, housing, advocacy and more to network and share best practices. Our goal is to inspire, motivate, and arm attendees with the know how to keep up the work of advancing full inclusion of people with disabilities in every aspect of life. These two days will be packed with over 15 panels and plenaries!

People with disabilities are the world’s largest minority, representing 20% of the global population. The principal of inclusion—ensuring that people with disabilities have equal access to opportunities, resources, and services—is fundamentally aligned with JDC’s values. Moreover, developing strong and sustainable communities is only truly possible if all members are fully included.

Jay and Shira Ruderman, through their family foundation, have put the issue of inclusion on the map in the Jewish community and beyond. Israel Unlimited, JDC Israel’s partnership with the Ruderman Family Foundation, has taken a leading role in making Israel more inclusive through highly innovative programs and strategies. And across the globe, JDC is working with Jewish communities to help people with disabilities, learning from our work in Israel and best practices in the field.

The semi-annual Ruderman Inclusion Summit is the most significant national event promoting the status of people with disabilities. The Summit will bring together over 500 community stakeholders to foster strategic advocacy and awareness, peer to peer learning, best practice, networking and more. The Summit will feature internationally recognized leaders in the field, speaking and engaging with attendees on the critical issues of education, housing, employment, community and religious life.

We invite you to represent JDC at this important summit and to help strengthen our priority efforts to make JDC more inclusive. As we expand our work globally, we need your help to build global policy and programs with an orientation toward inclusivity to bring this agenda to a global scale. The JDC delegation will participate in the Summit and in special programming around it offering intimate access to some of the top speakers and discussions on action steps and follow-up.

The Ruderman Foundation is guided by Jewish values and all provided meals will be kosher.
