The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) is now accepting applications for its 2012-2013 Jewish Service Corps (JSC) through March 15, 2012 at JSC is a year-long, paid, professional opportunity for recent college graduates and young professionals to travel overseas and play a hands-on role in addressing global Jewish and humanitarian challenges. By engaging in a variety of community-building, educational, cultural, and development-related programs, JSC fellows gain an unparalleled understanding of pressing issues and simultaneously build awareness about their work while in the field and upon their return.

“At the heart of our lifesaving work and the Jewish community connections we foster around the globe, are the people who put that mission into action. We’re privileged to have a group of young Jews in JSC whose unparalleled passion for change ensures we transform lives everyday. As we recruit for a new group of JSC visionaries, we’re on the look-out for that kind of drive and enthusiasm,” said JDC CEO Steven Schwager.
