The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the world’s largest Jewish humanitarian assistance organization, has appointed Josh Kram its Government Affairs Representative in Washington, D.C. Kram will help expand JDC’s existing governmental outreach by raising the organization’s profile and deepening relationships with public officials.
“We’re delighted to have Josh Kram join the JDC team. His broad background working with government officials and on foreign policy issues will help JDC further its historic and ever-expanding role of providing critical support for Jews and others in distress, danger or need around the globe,” said JDC CEO Steve Schwager.
Kram has worked with global advocacy organizations, political candidates, think tanks, Jewish communal organizations, and founded a Washington-based consulting firm. His experience includes working with the Council on Foreign Relations and it’s Senior Middle East Fellow Dan Senor, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Hillel. He also served as National Director of Jewish Outreach and foreign policy advisor to Hillary Clinton’s Presidential Campaign and began his career with AIPAC.
