At school, synagogue, summer camp, the office, or wherever else you find your friends and loved ones, the kehillah is a source of collective care and meaning, helping us to survive. By supporting our kehillah, we sustain ourselves and strengthen our resilience.
That’s why JDC helps create a sense of kehillah for Jews around the world. Jews find kehillah at Szarvas, the JDC-Lauder international summer camp in rural Hungary, a gateway to Jewish life with 25,000+ alumni from Europe, the former Soviet Union, and across the world. Jews find kehillah through JDC’s Junction, an initiative that gathers rising leaders from across Europe. And young Jews in India find kehillah through Jewish Youth Pioneers (JYP), JDC’s program for the country’s next generation of Jewish leaders.
